माताएँ-बहनें रोज स्नान के बाद पार्वती माता का स्मरण करते-करते उत्तर दिशा की ओर मुख करके तिलक करें और पार्वती माता को इस मंत्र से वंदन करें :

इससे माताओं –बहनों के सौभाग्य की रक्षा होगी तथा घर में सुख-शांति और समृद्धि बढ़ेगी |

प्रातःकाल नहा-धोकर, शुद्ध होकर, तुलसी के पौधे की परिक्रमा करने से शरीर के रोग दूर होते हैं तथा सुबह-शाम तुलसी के पौधे के समक्ष घी का दीपक जलाने से सुख-समृद्धि व नेत्र-ज्योति बढ़ती है। गुड़हल का पेड़ घर में अवश्य लगाना चाहिए। इसे लगाने से धर्म विषयक कार्यों में सिद्धि तथा मान- सम्मान का लाभ मिलता है।

नियमित रूप से केले के पेड़ में जल अर्पित करने और घी का दीपक जलाने से दरिद्रता दूर होती है। भोजन करने से पहले कुत्ते या गाय के लिए एक रोटी निकाल दें। आपको कभी भी आर्थिक समस्याओं का सामना नहीं करना पड़ेगा।

ज्येष्ठ मास
इस वर्ष 24 मई 2024 (उत्तर भारत हिन्दू पंचांग के अनुसार) से ज्येष्ठ का आरम्भ हो रहा है (गुजरात एवं महाराष्ट्र अनुसार 07 जून 2024 से ज्येष्ठ मास प्रारंभ होगा ।
महाभारत अनुशासन पर्व अध्याय 106 के अनुसार “ज्येष्ठामूलं तु यो मासमेकभक्तेन संक्षिपेत्। ऐश्वर्यमतुलं श्रेष्ठं पुमान्स्त्री वा प्रपद्यते।।” जो एक समय ही भोजन करके ज्येष्ठ मास को बिताता है वह स्त्री हो या पुरुष, अनुपम श्रेष्ठ एश्‍वर्य को प्राप्त होता है।
शिवपुराण के अनुसार ज्येष्ठ में तिल का दान बलवर्धक और मृत्युनिवारक होता है।
ज्येष्ठ मास की पूर्णिमा के दिन मूल नक्षत्र होने पर मथुरा में स्नान करके विधिवत् व्रत-उपवास करके भगवान कृष्ण की पूजा उपासना करते हुए श्री नारद पुराण का श्रवण करें तो भक्ति जन्म-जन्मान्तरों के पाप से मुक्त हो जाता है। माया के जाल से मुक्त होकर निरंजन हो जाता है। भगवान् विष्णु के चरणों में वृत्ति रखने वाला संसार के प्रति अनासक्त होकर फलस्वरूप जीव मुक्ति को प्राप्त करता हुआ वैकुंठ वासी हो जाता है।
धर्मसिन्धु के अनुसार ज्येष्ठ शुक्ल पूर्णिमा को तिलों के दान से अश्वमेध यज्ञ का फल होता है।
ज्येष्ठ मास की कृष्ण पक्ष की एकादशी तिथि को अपरा एकादशी का व्रत किया जाता है।
ज्येष्ठ कृष्ण अमावस्या को शनि जयंती मनाई जाती है। शास्त्रों के अनुसार शनि देव जी का जन्म ज्येष्ठ मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की अमावस्या को रात के समय हुआ था।
ज्येष्ठ शुक्ल दशमी को गंगा दशहरा का पवित्र त्यौहार मनाया जाता है।
ज्येष्ठ मास की शुक्ल पक्ष की एकादशी तिथि को निर्जला एकादशी का व्रत किया जाता है।
महाभारत अनुशासन पर्व अध्याय 109 के अनुसार ज्येष्ठ मास की द्वादशी तिथि को दिन-रात उपवास करके जो भगवान त्रिविक्रम की पूजा करता है, वह गोमेध यज्ञ का फल पाता और अप्सराओं के साथ आनन्द भोगता है ।
विष्णुपुराण के अनुसार
यमुनासलिले स्त्रातः पुरुषो मुनिसत्तम!
ज्येष्ठामूलेऽमले पक्षे द्रादश्यामुपवासकृत् ।। ६-८-३३ ।।
तमभ्यर्च्च्याच्युतं संम्यङू मथुरायां समाहितः ।
अश्वमेधस्य यज्ञस्य प्राप्तोत्यविकलं फलम् ।। ६-८-३४ ।।
ज्येष्ठ मास के शुक्लपक्ष की द्वादशी को मथुरापुरी में उपवास करते हुए यमुना स्नान करके समाहितचित से श्रीअच्युत का भलीप्रकार पूजन करने से मनुष्य को अश्वमेध-यज्ञ का सम्पूर्ण फल मिलता है।

Jyeshtha month
This year, Jyeshtha month is starting from 24th May 2024 (according to North India Hindu calendar) (According to Gujarat and Maharashtra, Jyeshtha month will start from 07th June 2024).
According to Mahabharata Anusandhan Parva Chapter 106, “Jyeshthamoolam Tu Yo Masamekabhakten Sankshipet. Aishwaryamatulam Shrestham Pumanstri Va Prapadyate.” One who spends the month of Jyeshtha by eating only once, be it a man or a woman, attains incomparable wealth.
According to Shivpuran, donation of sesame seeds in Jyeshtha gives strength and prevents death.
On the full moon day of Jyeshtha month, when there is Moola Nakshatra, after taking bath in Mathura, observing fast and worshiping Lord Krishna and listening to Shri Narad Purana, one becomes free from the sins of many births. One becomes free from the trap of Maya and becomes Niranjan. One who has an attitude towards the feet of Lord Vishnu becomes a resident of Vaikuntha by becoming detached from the world and consequently attains liberation.
According to Dharmasindhu, donating sesame seeds on Jyeshtha Shukla Purnima results in Ashwamedha Yagya.
Apara Ekadashi fast is observed on the Ekadashi date of Krishna Paksha of Jyeshtha month.
Shani Jayanti is celebrated on Jyeshtha Krishna Amavasya. According to the scriptures, Shani Dev Ji was born at night on the new moon day of Krishna Paksha of Jyeshtha month.
The holy festival of Ganga Dussehra is celebrated on Jyeshtha Shukla Dashami.
Nirjala Ekadashi fast is observed on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month.
According to Mahabharata Anusandhan Parva Chapter 109, one who worships Lord Trivikram by fasting day and night on the twelfth day of Jyeshtha month, gets the fruits of Gomedha Yagya and enjoys pleasure with the Apsaras.
