विशेष – षष्ठी को नीम की पत्ती, फल या दातुन मुँह में डालने से नीच योनियों की प्राप्ति होती है। सप्तमी को ताड़ का फल खाया जाय तो वह रोग बढ़ानेवाला तथा शरीर का नाशक होता है । (ब्रह्मवैवर्त पुराण, ब्रह्म खंडः 27.29-34)

चैत्र नवरात्रि
नवरात्रि के षष्ठी तिथि पर आदिशक्ति दुर्गा के कात्यायनी स्वरूप की पूजा करने का विधान है । महर्षि कात्यायनी की तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर आदिशक्ति ने उनके यहां पुत्री के रूप में जन्म लिया था । इसलिए वे कात्यायनी कहलाती हैं । नवरात्रि के छठे दिन इनकी पूजा और आराधना होती है। माता कात्यायनी की उपासना से आज्ञा चक्र जाग्रृति की सिद्धियां साधक को स्वयंमेव प्राप्त हो जाती हैं । वह इस लोक में स्थित रहकर भी अलौलिक तेज और प्रभाव से युक्त हो जाता है तथा उसके रोग, शोक, संताप, भय आदि सर्वथा विनष्ट हो जाते हैं ।

नवरात्र की षष्ठी तिथि यानी छठे दिन माता दुर्गा को शहद का भोग लगाएं । इससे धन लाभ होने के योग बनते हैं ।

रविवार विशेष

रविवार के दिन स्त्री-सहवास तथा तिल का तेल खाना और लगाना निषिद्ध है । (ब्रह्मवैवर्त पुराण, ब्रह्म खंडः 27.29-38)

रविवार के दिन मसूर की दाल, अदरक और लाल रंग का साग नहीं खाना चाहिए । (ब्रह्मवैवर्त पुराण, श्रीकृष्ण खंडः 75.90)

रविवार सूर्यदेव का दिन है, इस दिन क्षौर (बाल काटना व दाढ़ी बनवाना) कराने से धन, बुद्धि और धर्म की क्षति होती है ।

रविवार को आँवले का सेवन नहीं करना चाहिए ।

स्कंद पुराण के अनुसार रविवार के दिन बिल्ववृक्ष का पूजन करना चाहिए । इससे ब्रह्महत्या आदि महापाप भी नष्ट हो जाते हैं ।

रविवार के दिन पीपल के पेड़ को स्पर्श करना निषेध है ।

रविवार के दिन तुलसी पत्ता तोड़ना वर्जित है ।

Chaitra Navaratri
There is a tradition to worship the Katyayani form of Adishakti Durga on the Shashthi date of Navratri. Pleased with the penance of Maharishi Katyayani, Adishakti was born as a daughter to him. That is why she is called Katyayani. He is worshiped and worshiped on the sixth day of Navratri. By worshiping Mother Katyayani, the seeker automatically attains the achievements of Ajna Chakra awakening. Despite being present in this world, he becomes filled with supernatural power and influence and his diseases, grief, anguish, fear etc. are completely destroyed.

Offer honey to Goddess Durga on the sixth day i.e. Shashthi Tithi of Navratri. There are chances of financial gain due to this.
