Joining the Prime Minister of Bhutan will be the Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Employment, as well as senior officials from the Royal Government of Bhutan
The Prime Minister of Bhutan, H.E Dasho Tshering Tobgay, is all set for an official visit to India from 14-18 March, 2024, following an invitation from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. This much-anticipated visit will be Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay’s first overseas trip since taking office in January 2024. Joining the Prime Minister of Bhutan will be the Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Employment, as well as senior officials from the Royal Government of Bhutan.
During the visit, the Prime Minister of Bhutan, Tshering Tobgay, will call on the President, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, and hold bilateral talks with the Prime Minister of India. Additionally, the External Affairs Minister and other Indian dignitaries will call on the Prime Minister of Bhutan. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay will also visit Mumbai during his trip.

India and Bhutan enjoy exemplary ties of friendship and cooperation, based on trust, goodwill and mutual understanding at all levels. The visit of the Prime Minister of Bhutan will provide an opportunity to the two sides to review the progress in our unique partnership and to discuss ways and means to expand the enduring ties of friendship and cooperation between India and Bhutan.
