विशेष – हर एकादशी को श्री विष्णु सहस्रनाम का पाठ करने से घर में सुख शांति बनी रहती है l    राम रामेति रामेति । रमे रामे मनोरमे ।। सहस्त्र नाम त तुल्यं । राम नाम वरानने ।।
आज एकादशी के दिन इस मंत्र के पाठ से विष्णु सहस्रनाम के जप के समान पुण्य प्राप्त होता है l
एकादशी के दिन बाल नहीं कटवाने चाहिए।
एकादशी को चावल व साबूदाना खाना वर्जित है | एकादशी को शिम्बी (सेम) ना खाएं अन्यथा पुत्र का नाश होता है।
जो दोनों पक्षों की एकादशियों को आँवले के रस का प्रयोग कर स्नान करते हैं, उनके पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं।

विशेष – 19 मई, रविवार को एकादशी का व्रत (उपवास) रखे।
मोहिनी एकादशी ( उपवास से अनेक जन्मों के मेरु पर्वत जैसे महापापों का नाश )

रोग मुक्ति के लिए: लंबे समय से किसी बीमारी से ग्रसित हैं या समय-समय पर बीमार पड़ जाते हैं तो सप्ताह के मंगलवार और रविवार के दिन पूरे घर पर गंगाजल से छिड़काव गायत्री मंत्र बोलते हुए करें. इससे घर पर मौजूद नकारात्मकता दूर होती है और रोग-दोष भी दूर रहते हैं.

कर्ज से परेशान हैं या लंबे समय से कर्ज उतर नहीं रहा है तो पीतल के पात्र में गंगाजल भरकर कमरे के उत्तर-पूर्व कोण में रख दें. इससे शीघ्र ही कर्ज से मुक्ति मिलती है.

व्यतिपात योग
20 मई 2024 सोमवार को दोपहर 12:11 से 21 मई, मंगलवार दोपहर 12:36 तक व्यतिपात योग है।
व्यतिपात योग की ऐसी महिमा है कि उस समय जप पाठ प्राणायम, माला से जप या मानसिक जप करने से भगवान की और विशेष कर भगवान सूर्यनारायण की प्रसन्नता प्राप्त होती है जप करने वालों को, व्यतिपात योग में जो कुछ भी किया जाता है उसका १ लाख गुना फल मिलता है।
वाराह पुराण में ये बात आती है व्यतिपात योग की।

वैशाख मास के अंतिम ३ दिन दिलायें महापुण्य पुंज
‘स्कंद पुराण’ के अनुसार वैशाख मास के शुक्ल पक्ष में अंतिम ३ दिन, (21 मई से 23 मई तक) त्रयोदशी से लेकर पूर्णिमा तक की तिथियाँ बड़ी ही पवित्र और शुभकारक हैं | इनका नाम ‘ पुष्करिणी ’ हैं, ये सब पापों का क्षय करनेवाली हैं | जो सम्पूर्ण वैशाख मास में ब्राम्हमुहूर्त में पुण्यस्नान, व्रत, नियम आदि करने में असमर्थ हो, वह यदि इन ३ तिथियों में भी उसे करे तो वैशाख मास का पूरा फल पा लेता है |
वैशाख मास में लौकिक कामनाओं का नियमन करने पर मनुष्य निश्चय ही भगवान विष्णु का सायुज्य प्राप्त कर लेता है | जो वैशाख मास में अंतिम ३ दिन ‘गीता’ का पाठ करता है, उसे प्रतिदिन अश्वमेध यज्ञ का फल मिलता है | जो इन तीनों दिन ‘श्रीविष्णुसहस्रनाम’ का पाठ करता है, उसके पुण्यफल का वर्णन करने में तो इस भूलोक व स्वर्गलोक में कौन समर्थ है | अर्थात् वह महापुण्यवान हो जाता है |
जो वैशाख के अंतिम ३ दिनों में ‘भागवत’ शास्त्र का श्रवण करता है, वह जल में कमल के पत्तों की भांति कभी पापों में लिप्त नहीं होता | इन अंतिम ३ दिनों में शास्त्र-पठन व पुण्यकर्मों से कितने ही मनुष्यों ने देवत्व प्राप्त कर लिया और कितने ही सिद्ध हो गये | अत: वैशाख के अंतिम दिनों में स्नान, दान, पूजन अवश्य करना चाहिए |
