विशेष – तृतीया को परवल खाना शत्रुओं की वृद्धि करने वाला है । (ब्रह्मवैवर्त पुराण, ब्रह्म खंडः 27.29-34)

अक्षय तृतीया – 10 मई 2024
( पूरा दिन शुभ मुहूर्त )
‘अक्षय’ शब्द का मतलब है- जिसका क्षय या नाश न हो । इस दिन किया हुआ जप, तप, ज्ञान तथा दान अक्षय फल देने वाला होता है अतः इसे ‘अक्षय तृतीया’ कहते हैं । भविष्यपुराण, मत्स्यपुराण, पद्मपुराण, विष्णुधर्मोत्तर पुराण, स्कन्दपुराण में इस तिथि का विशेष उल्लेख है । इस दिन जो भी शुभ कार्य किए जाते हैं, उनका बड़ा ही श्रेष्ठ फल मिलता है ।
भविष्यपुराण के मध्यमपर्व में कहा गया है वैशाख शुक्ल पक्ष की तृतीया में गंगाजी में स्नान करनेवाला सब पापों से मुक्त हो जाता है ।
इस दिन गंगा-स्नान करने से सारे तीर्थ करने का फल मिलता है। गंगाजी का सुमिरन एंव जल में आवाहन करके ब्राह्ममुहूर्त में पुण्यस्नान तो सभी कर सकते हैं। स्नान के पश्चात प्रार्थना करें-
माधवे मेषगे भानौ मुरारे मधुसूदन।
प्रातः स्नानेन मे नाथ फलदः पापहा भव।।
सप्तधान्य उबटन व गोझरण मिश्रित जल से स्नान पुण्यदायी है। पुष्प, धूप-दीप, चंदन, अक्षत (साबुत चावल) आदि से लक्ष्मी नारायण का पूजन व अक्षत से हवन अक्षय फलदायी है।
इस दिन बिना कोई शुभ मुहूर्त देखे कोई भी शुभ कार्य प्रारम्भ या सम्पन्न किया जा सकता है। जैसे – विवाह, गृह-प्रवेश या वस्त्र-आभूषण, घर, वाहन, भूखंड आदि की खरीददारी, कृषिकार्य का प्रारम्भ आदि सुख-समृद्धि प्रदायक है।
इस दिन किया गया उपवास, जप, ध्यान, स्वाध्याय भी अक्षय फलदायी होता है। एक बार हलका भोजन करके भी उपवास कर सकते हैं।
इस दिन पानी के घड़े, पंखे, ओले (खाँड के लड्डू), पादत्राण (जूते-चप्पल), छाता, जौ, गेहूँ, चावल, गौ, वस्त्र आदि का दान पुण्यदायी है। परंतु दान सुपात्र को ही देना चाहिए।

पितृ-तर्पण का महत्त्व व विधि
अक्षय तृतीया के दिन पितृ-तर्पण करना अक्षय फलदायी है । पितरों के तृप्त होने पर घर में सुख-शांति-समृद्धि व दिव्य संताने आती है ।
विधि : इस दिन तिल एवं अक्षत लेकर र्विष्णु एवं ब्रम्हाजी को तत्त्वरूप से पधारने की प्रार्थना करें । फिर पूर्वजों का मानसिक आवाहन कर उनके चरणों में तिल, अक्षत व जल अर्पित करने की भावना करते हुए धीरे से सामग्री किसी पात्र में छोड़ दें तथा भगवान दत्तात्रेय, ब्रम्हाजी व विष्णुजी से पूर्वजों की सदगति हेतु प्रार्थना करें ।
इस दिन माता-पिता, गुरुजनों की सेवा कर के उनकी विशेष प्रसन्नता, संतुष्टि व आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करें। इसका फल भी अक्षय होता है।
अक्षय तृतीया ( 10 मई 2024 )का तात्त्विक संदेश
‘अक्षयʹ यानी जिसका कभी नाश न हो । शरीर एवं संसार की समस्त वस्तुएँ नाशवान हैं, अविनाशी तो केवल परमात्मा ही है । यह दिन हमें आत्मविवेचन की प्रेरणा देता है। अक्षय आत्मतत्त्व पर दृष्टि रखने का दृष्टिकोण देता है । महापुरुषों व धर्म के प्रति हमारी श्रद्धा और परमात्मप्राप्ति का हमारा संकल्प अटूट व अक्षय हो – यही अक्षय तृतीया का संदेश मान सकते हो।

अक्षय तृतीया (श्री परशुराम प्रकटोत्सव) :

मदनरत्न के अनुसार :
“अस्यां तिथौ क्षयमुर्पति हुतं न दत्तं। तेनाक्षयेति कथिता मुनिभिस्तृतीया॥
उद्दिष्य दैवतपितृन्क्रियते मनुष्यैः। तत् च अक्षयं भवति भारत सर्वमेव॥

अक्षय तृतीया या आखा तीज वैशाख मास में शुक्ल पक्ष की तृतीया तिथि को कहते हैं। पौराणिक ग्रंथों के अनुसार इस दिन जो भी शुभ कार्य किये जाते हैं, उनका अक्षय फल मिलता है । इसी कारण इसे अक्षय तृतीया कहा जाता है । वैसे तो सभी बारह महीनों की शुक्ल पक्षीय तृतीया शुभ होती है, किंतु वैशाख माह की तिथि स्वयंसिद्ध मुहूर्तो में मानी गई है। भविष्य पुराण के अनुसार इस तिथि की युगादि तिथियों में गणना होती है, सतयुग और त्रेता युग का प्रारंभ इसी तिथि से हुआ है ।
भगवान विष्णु ने नर-नारायण, हयग्रीव और परशुराम जी का अवतरण भी इसी तिथि को हुआ था । ब्रह्माजी के पुत्र अक्षय कुमार का आविर्भाव भी इसी दिन हुआ था । इस दिन श्री बद्रीनाथ जी की प्रतिमा स्थापित कर पूजा की जाती है और श्री लक्ष्मी नारायण के दर्शन किए जाते हैं। प्रसिद्ध तीर्थ स्थल बद्रीनारायण के कपाट भी इसी तिथि से ही पुनः खुलते हैं।
वृंदावन स्थित श्री बांके बिहारी जी मन्दिर में भी केवल इसी दिन श्री विग्रह के चरण दर्शन होते हैं, अन्यथा वे पूरे वर्ष वस्त्रों से ढके रहते हैं। इसी दिन महाभारत का युद्ध समाप्त हुआ था और द्वापर युग का समापन भी इसी दिन हुआ था। ऐसी मान्यता है कि इस दिन से प्रारम्भ किए गए कार्य अथवा इस दिन को किए गए दान का कभी भी क्षय नहीं होता। इस दिन से शादी-ब्याह करने की शुरुआत हो जाती है।
बड़े-बुजुर्ग अपने पुत्र-पुत्रियों के लगन का मांगलिक कार्य आरंभ कर देते हैं। अनेक स्थानों पर छोटे बच्चे भी पूरी रीति-रिवाज के साथ अपने गुड्‌डा-गुड़िया का विवाह रचाते हैं। इस प्रकार गाँवों में बच्चे सामाजिक कार्य व्यवहारों को स्वयं सीखते व आत्मसात करते हैं।
स्कंद पुराण और भविष्य पुराण में उल्लेख है कि वैशाख शुक्ल पक्ष की तृतीया को रेणुका के गर्भ से भगवान विष्णु ने परशुराम रूप में जन्म लिया। कोंकण और चिप्लून के परशुराम मंदिरों में इस तिथि को परशुराम जयंती बड़ी धूमधाम से मनाई जाती है।
दक्षिण भारत में परशुराम जयंती को विशेष महत्व दिया जाता है। परशुराम जयंती होने के कारण इस तिथि में भगवान परशुराम के आविर्भाव की कथा भी सुनी जाती है।
इस दिन परशुराम जी की पूजा करके उन्हें अर्घ्य देने का बड़ा माहात्म्य माना गया है। सौभाग्यवती स्त्रियाँ और क्वारी कन्याएँ इस दिन गौरी-पूजा करके मिठाई, फल और भीगे हुए चने बाँटती हैं, गौरी-पार्वती की पूजा करके धातु या मिट्टी के कलश में जल, फल, फूल, तिल, अन्न आदि लेकर दान करती हैं। मान्यता है कि इसी दिन जन्म से ब्राह्मण और कर्म से क्षत्रिय भृगुवंशी परशुराम का जन्म हुआ था।
एक कथा के अनुसार परशुराम की माता और विश्वामित्र की माता के पूजन के बाद प्रसाद देते समय ऋषि ने प्रसाद बदल कर दे दिया था। जिसके प्रभाव से परशुराम ब्राह्मण होते हुए भी क्षत्रिय स्वभाव के थे और क्षत्रिय पुत्र होने के बाद भी विश्वामित्र ब्रह्मर्षि कहलाए। उल्लेख है कि सीता स्वयंवर के समय परशुराम जी अपना धनुष बाण श्री राम को समर्पित कर संन्यासी का जीवन बिताने अन्यत्र चले गए। अपने साथ एक फरसा रखते थे तभी उनका नाम परशुराम पड़ा।

हर ब्राह्मण परिवारों के बच्चे-बच्चे को मालूम होनी चाहिए ऐसी जानकारी:-

उत्तर:- रेणुका और जमदग्नि।

आज के दिन प्रातः काल से ही सेहत में नरमी बनेगी। असंयमित खान-पान अथवा अपच के कारण पेट दर्द के साथ शारीरिक अंगों में शिथिलता अनुभव करेंगे। कार्य व्यवसाय में तेजी रहने पर भी धन की आमद के लिए प्रतीक्षा करनी पड़ेगी। कार्यक्षेत्र हो या घर परिवार सभी लोग आपसे स्वार्थ सिद्धि के लिए ही प्रेम करेंगे। दोपहर के आस-पास कोई नया कार्य हाथ लगेगा लेकिन इसमें भी आर्थिक लाभ होते होते टलेगा। आज किसी भी प्रकार के जोखिम भरे कार्य से दूर ही रहना बेहतर है। संध्या का समय दिन की अपेक्षा बेहतर रूप से गुजरेगा किसी पुराने परिचित से भेंट होगी। घर के बड़े बुजुर्गों से अपनी कामना पूर्ति की आस अंत समय मे टूटने पर मन दुखी होगा। सफर अतिआवश्यक होने पर ही करें उधार किसी परिचित को भी ना दें।

The word ‘akshaya’ means that which does not decay or perish. Japa, austerities, knowledge and charity done on this day are inexhaustible fruits, hence it is called ‘Akshaya Tritiya’ This date is mentioned in Bhavishya Purana, Matsya Purana, Padma Purana, Vishnudharmottar Purana and Skanda Purana. Whatever auspicious deeds are done on this day, they get the best reward.
In the Madhya Parva of Bhavishya Purana, it is said that one who takes a bath in Ganga on the third day of Vaishakh Shukla Paksha is freed from all sins.
On this day, one gets the fruits of performing all the pilgrimages by taking a Ganga bath. By remembering Gangaji and invoking in water, everyone can take a holy bath in Brahma Muhurt. After bathing, pray:

Bathing with water mixed with Saptadhanya Ubtan and Gojran is pious. Worship of Lakshmi Narayan with flowers, incense, sandalwood, Akshat (whole rice) etc. and Havan with Akshat is inexhaustibly fruitful.

Method: On this day, take sesame seeds and akshat and pray to Vishnu and Brahma to appear in the form of Tattva. Then mentally invoke the ancestors and offer sesame seeds, akshat and water at their feet, gently leave the material in a vessel and pray to Lord Dattatreya, Brahma and Vishnu for the good fortune of the ancestors.

‘Akshayaʹ means one who never perishes. All things of the body and the world are perishable, but only God is indestructible. This day inspires us to self-examination. Our faith in great personalities and religion and our resolve to attain the Supreme Self should be unbroken and inexhaustible – this is the message of Akshaya Tritiya.

“On this date the sacrifice of Kshayamurpati is not offered. Therefore the third is declared by the sages to be inexhaustible
It is done by men for the sake of the gods and ancestors. And that all becomes inexhaustible, O Arjuna.

Akshaya Tritiya or Akha Teej is the third day of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaishakh. According to mythological texts, whatever auspicious deeds are done on this day, they get inexhaustible rewards. That is why it is called Akshaya Tritiya. By the way, all twelve months of the Shukla Pakshi Tritiya is auspicious, but the date of the month of Vaishakh is considered to be in the self-evident moments. According to Bhavishya Purana, this date is counted among the Yuga and other dates. Satyug and Treta Yuga started from this date.
Lord Vishnu, Nara-Narayan, Hayagreevam and Parshuram were also incarnated on this date. Brahma’s son Akshay Kumar also appeared on this day. It is mentioned that at the time of Sita Swayamvar, Parashuram ji dedicated his bow and arrows to Shri Ram and went somewhere else to live the life of a monk.
