1.पद्म पुराण के अनुसार हर शनिवार को पीपल की जड़ में जल चढ़ाने और दीपक जलाने से अनेक प्रकार के कष्टों का निवारण होता है।
2.शनिवार के दिन पीपल में काले तिल, दूध, गुड़, पानी मिलाकर चढ़ायें एवं प्रार्थना करें – ‘ हे प्रभु ! आपने गीता में कहा है कि वृक्षों में पीपल मैं हूँ। हे भगवान ! मेरे जीवन में यह परेशानी है। आप कृपा करके मेरी यह परेशानी ( परेशानी , दुःख का नाम लेकर ) दूर करने की कृपा करें। पीपल का स्पर्श करें व प्रदक्षिणा करें।

कलह-क्लेश, रोग व दुर्बलता मिटाने का उपाय
जिसको घर में कलह-क्लेश मिटाना हो, रोग या शारीरिक दुर्बलता मिटाना हो वह इस चौपाई की पुनरावृत्ति किया करे:
बुद्धिहीन तनु जानिके, सुमिरौ पवन-कुमार।
बल बुधि बिद्या देहु मोहिं, हरहु कलेस बिकार ।।

नकारात्मक ऊर्जा मिटाने के लिए
अमावस्या के दिन पानी में खड़ा नमक (१ लीटर पानी में ५० ग्राम खड़ा नमक) डालकर पोछा लगायें । इससे नेगेटिव एनेर्जी चली जाएगी । अथवा खड़ा नमक के स्थान पर गौझरण अर्क भी डाल सकते हैं ।

अमावस्या को आहुति प्रयोग
धन-धान्य व सुख-संम्पदा के लिए हर अमावस्या को घर में एक छोटा सा आहुति प्रयोग करें।
सामग्री : १. काले तिल २. जौ ३. चावल ४. गाय का घी ५. चंदन पाउडर ६. गूगल ७. गुड़ ८. देशी कर्पूर , गौ चंदन या कण्डा।
विधि: गौ चंदन या कण्डे को किसी बर्तन में डालकर हवनकुंड बना लें, फिर उपरोक्त ८ वस्तुओं के मिश्रण से तैयार सामग्री से, घर के सभी सदस्य एकत्रित होकर नीचे दिये गये देवताओं की १-१ आहुति दें ।
