ब्रह्म पुराण’ के 118 वें अध्याय में शनिदेव कहते हैं- ‘मेरे दिन अर्थात् शनिवार को जो मनुष्य नियमित रूप से पीपल के वृक्ष का स्पर्श करेंगे, उनके सब कार्य सिद्ध होंगे तथा मुझसे उनको कोई पीड़ा नहीं होगी। जो शनिवार को प्रातःकाल उठकर पीपल के वृक्ष का स्पर्श करेंगे, उन्हें ग्रहजन्य पीड़ा नहीं होगी।’ (ब्रह्म पुराण’)

शनिवार के दिन पीपल के वृक्ष का दोनों हाथों से स्पर्श करते हुए ‘ॐ नमः शिवाय।’ का 108 बार जप करने से दुःख, कठिनाई एवं ग्रहदोषों का प्रभाव शांत हो जाता है। (ब्रह्म पुराण’)

हर शनिवार को पीपल की जड़ में जल चढ़ाने और दीपक जलाने से अनेक प्रकार के कष्टों का निवारण होता है ।(पद्म पुराण)

21 जुलाई 2024 रविवार को सूर्योदय से रात्रि 11:45 बजे तक 108 बार मंत्र जप लें और रात्रि 11:00 से 12:00 बजे के बीच जीभ पर लाल चंदन ‘ह्रीं’ मंत्र लिख दें । जिसकी जीभ पर यह मंत्र इस विधि से लिखा जायेगा, उसे विद्यालाभ व विद्वत्ता की प्राप्ति होगी |

गुरु का मानस-पूजन कैसे करें गुरु पूर्णिमा पर|

गुरुपूनम की सुबह उठें । नहा-धोकर थोडा-बहुत धूप, प्राणायाम आदि करके श्रीगुरुगीता का पाठ कर लें ।
फिर इस प्रकार मानसिक पूजन करें
मेरे गुरुदेव ! मन-ही-मन, मानसिक रूप से मैं आपको सप्ततीर्थों के जल से स्नान करा रहा हूँ । मेरे नाथ ! स्वच्छ वस्त्रों से आपका चिन्मय वपु (चिन्मय शरीर) पोंछ रहा हूँ । शुद्ध वस्त्र पहनाकर मैं आपको मन से ही तिलक करता हूँ, स्वीकार कीजिये । मोगरा और गुलाब के पुष्पों की दो मालाएँ आपके वक्षस्थल में सुशोभित करता हूँ ।

आपने तो हृदयकमल विकसित करके उसकी सुवास हमारे हृदय तक पहुँचायी है लेकिन हम यह पुष्पों की सुवास आपके पावन तन तक पहुँचाते हैं, वह भी मनसे, इसे स्वीकार कीजिये । साष्टांग दंडवत् प्रणाम करके हमारा अहं आपके श्रीचरणों में धरते हैं ।

हे मेरे गुरुदेव ! आज से मेरी देह, मेरा मन, मेरा जीवन मैं आपके दैवी कार्य के निमित्त पूरा नहीं तो हररोज २ घंटा, ५ घंटा अर्पण करता हूँ, आप स्वीकार करना । भक्ति, निष्ठा और अपनी अनुभूति का दान देनेवाले देव ! बिना माँगे कोहिनूर का भी कोहिनूर आत्मप्रकाश देनेवाले हे मेरे परम हितैषी ! आपकी जय-जयकार हो|

इस प्रकार पूजन तब तक बार-बार करते रहें जब तक आपका पूजन गुरु तक, परमात्मा तक नहीं पहुँचे । और पूजन पहुँचने का एहसास होगा, अष्टसात्त्विक भावों (स्तम्भ १ , स्वेद २ , रोमांच, स्वरभंग, कम्प, वैवण्र्य ३ , अश्रु, प्रलय ४ ) में से कोई-न-कोई भाव भगवत्कृपा, गुरुकृपा से आपके हृदय में प्रकट होगा ।
