व्रत पर्व विवरण – एकदंत संकष्ट चतुर्थी
विशेष – तृतीया को परवल खाना शत्रुवृद्धि करता है। (ब्रह्मवैवर्त पुराण, ब्रह्म खंडः 27.29-34)

क्या है संकष्ट चतुर्थी ?

संकष्ट चतुर्थी का मतलब होता है संकट को हरने वाली चतुर्थी । संकष्ट संस्कृत भाषा से लिया गया एक शब्द है, जिसका अर्थ होता है ‘कठिन समय से मुक्ति पाना’।

इस दिन व्यक्ति अपने दुःखों से छुटकारा पाने के लिए गणपति की अराधना करता है । पुराणों के अनुसार चतुर्थी के दिन गौरी पुत्र गणेश की पूजा करना बहुत फलदायी होता है । इस दिन लोग सूर्योदय के समय से लेकर चन्द्रमा उदय होने के समय तक उपवास रखते हैं । संकष्ट चतुर्थी को पूरे विधि-विधान से गणपति की पूजा-पाठ की जाती है ।

संकष्ट चतुर्थी पूजा विधि

गणपति में आस्था रखने वाले लोग इस दिन उपवास रखकर उन्हें प्रसन्न कर अपने मनचाहे फल की कामना करते हैं ।

इस दिन आप प्रातः काल सूर्योदय से पहले उठ जाएँ ।

व्रत करने वाले लोग सबसे पहले स्नान कर साफ और धुले हुए कपड़े पहन लें । इस दिन लाल रंग का वस्त्र धारण करना बेहद शुभ माना जाता है और साथ में यह भी कहा जाता है कि ऐसा करने से व्रत सफल होता है ।

स्नान के बाद वे गणपति की पूजा की शुरुआत करें । गणपति की पूजा करते समय जातक को अपना मुंह पूर्व या उत्तर दिशा की ओर रखना चाहिए ।

सबसे पहले आप गणपति की मूर्ति को फूलों से अच्छी तरह से सजा लें ।

पूजा में आप तिल, गुड़, लड्डू, फूल ताम्बे के कलश में पानी, धुप, चन्दन , प्रसाद के तौर पर केला या नारियल रख लें ।

ध्यान रहे कि पूजा के समय आप देवी दुर्गा की प्रतिमा या मूर्ति भी अपने पास रखें । ऐसा करना बेहद शुभ माना जाता है ।

गणपति को रोली लगाएं, फूल और जल अर्पित करें ।

संकष्टी को भगवान् गणपति को तिल के लड्डू और मोदक का भोग लगाएं ।

गणपति के सामने धूप-दीप जला कर निम्लिखित मन्त्र का जाप करें ।

गजाननं भूत गणादि सेवितं, कपित्थ जम्बू फल चारू भक्षणम्।
उमासुतं शोक विनाशकारकम्, नमामि विघ्नेश्वर पाद पंकजम्।।

पूजा के बाद आप फल फ्रूट्स आदि प्रसाद सेवन करें ।

शाम के समय चांद के निकलने से पहले आप गणपति की पूजा करें और संकष्ट व्रत कथा का पाठ करें ।

पूजा समाप्त होने के बाद प्रसाद बाटें । रात को चाँद देखने के बाद व्रत खोला जाता है और इस प्रकार संकष्ट चतुर्थी का व्रत पूर्ण होता है ।

समाधान: धन की कमी को दूर करने के लिए यह उपाय बहुत कारगर माना जाता है। इसके लिए गुरुवार के दिन एक नारियल को सवा मीटर पीले कपड़े में लपेट लें। इसके बाद इसे मिठाई और जनेऊ के जोड़े के साथ भगवान विष्णु को श्रद्धापूर्वक अर्पित करें। इससे धन का आगमन बढ़ता है।

What is Sankashta Chaturthi?

Sankashta Chaturthi means Chaturthi that removes crisis. Sankashta is a word taken from the Sanskrit language, which means ‘to get rid of hard times’.

On this day, one worships Lord Ganesha to get rid of one’s sufferings. According to Puranas, it is very fruitful to worship Gauri, the son of Gauri, on the day of Chaturthi. On this day, people fast from sunrise to moonrise. On Sankashta Chaturthi, Ganpati is worshiped in accordance with the rituals.

Sankashta Chaturthi Puja Vidhi

People who have faith in Lord Ganesha fast on this day to please him and wish for their desired fruits.

On this day you should get up before sunrise in the morning.

Those who are fasting should first take a bath and put on clean and washed clothes. It is considered very auspicious to wear red clothes on this day and it is also said that doing so makes the fast successful.

After bathing, he should start worshiping Lord Ganesha. While worshiping Ganesha, the Jataka should keep his face facing east or north.

First of all, you should decorate the idol of Ganpati with flowers.

In the puja, you place sesame seeds, jaggery, laddu, flowers in a copper urn, water, incense, sandalwood, banana or coconut as offerings.

Keep in mind that you should also keep an idol of Goddess Durga with you during the worship. It is considered very auspicious to do so.

Roli to Ganpati, offer flowers and water.

Offer sesame laddu and modak to Lord Ganesha on Sankashti.

Light incense and lamps in front of Lord Ganesha and chant the following mantra.

Gajanana is served by ghosts and others, and he eats beautiful fruits like kapittha and jambu.
I bow to the lotus feet of the son of Uma, the destroyer of sorrow, the lord of obstacles.

After the worship, you should consume fruits and other offerings.

In the evening, before the moon rises, you should worship Lord Ganesha and recite Sankashta Vrat Katha.

After completion of the puja, distribute the offerings. After seeing the moon at night, the fast is opened and thus the fast of Sankashta Chaturthi is completed.
