आज एकादशी के दिन इस मंत्र के पाठ से विष्णु सहस्रनाम के जप के समान पुण्य प्राप्त होता है l
एकादशी के दिन बाल नहीं कटवाने चाहिए।
एकादशी को चावल व साबूदाना खाना वर्जित है | एकादशी को शिम्बी (सेम) ना खाएं अन्यथा पुत्र का नाश होता है। जो दोनों पक्षों की एकादशियों को आँवले के रस का प्रयोग कर स्नान करते हैं, उनके पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं।

कामदा एकादशी
19 अप्रैल, शुक्रवार को कामदा एकादशी है।
‘कामदा एकादशी’ ब्रह्महत्या आदि पापों तथा पिशाचत्व आदि दोषों का नाश करनेवाली है । इसके पढ़ने और सुनने से वाजपेय यज्ञ का फल मिलता है ।

ग्रीष्म ऋतु में शरीर का जलीय व स्निग्ध अंश घटने लगता है | जठराग्नि व रोगप्रतिकारक क्षमता भी घटने लगती है | इससे उत्पन्न शारीरिक समस्याओं से सुरक्षा हेतु नीचे दी गयी बातों का ध्यान रखें –
१] ग्रीष्म ऋतु में जलन, गर्मी, चक्कर आना, अपच, दस्त, नेत्रविकार ( आँख आना / Conjunctivitis ) आदि समस्याएँ अधिक होती हैं | अत: गर्मियों में घर में बाहर निकलते समय लू से बचने के लिए सिर पर कपड़ा बाँधे अथवा टोपी पहने तथा एक गिलास पानी पीकर निकलें | जिन्हें दोपहिया वाहन पर बहुत लम्बी मुसाफिरी करनी हो वे जेब में एक प्याज रख सकते हैं |
२] उष्ण से ठंडे वातावरण में आने पर १० – १५ मिनट तक पानी न पियें | धूप में से आने पर तुंरत पूरे कपड़े न निकालें, कूलर आदि के सामने भी न बैठें | रात को पंखे, एयर – कंडिशनर अथवा कूलर की हवा में सोने की अपेक्षा हो सके तो छत पर अथवा खुले आँगन में सोयें | यह सम्भव न हो तो पंखे, कूलर आदि की सीधी हवा न लगे इसका ध्यान रखें |

Health and safety in summer
Summer season starts from Friday, April 19, 2024
In summer season the water and fatty content of the body starts decreasing. Gastritis and immunity also start decreasing. To protect yourself from physical problems arising from this, keep the following things in mind –
1] In the summer season, problems like burning sensation, heat, dizziness, indigestion, diarrhea, conjunctivitis etc. are more common. Therefore, while going out of the house in summer, to avoid heatstroke, tie a cloth on your head or wear a cap and drink a glass of water before leaving. Those who have to travel a long distance on a two-wheeler can keep an onion in their pocket.
2] Do not drink water for 10 – 15 minutes after coming from hot to cold environment.
